✈ Overview

This course will provide aerodrome inspectors with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to ensure that aerodrome inspection procedures are implemented appropriately in order to achieve the goal of safe and efficient aerodrome operations. 

✈ Who Should Attend

This course is recommended for entry level of aerodrome inspectors and aerodrome agents to become aerodrome inspectors. 

✈ Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Employ standard communication phraseology required for safely conducting aerodrome inspection;
• Conduct an Aerodrome Surface Inspection;
• Conduct an inspection of Visual aids and navigational aids (NAVAIDs);
• Verify airside access and movement in airside areas;
• Conduct an inspection for the application of safety measures in airside operations;
• Verify the application of Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs);
• Inspect the presence of wildlife;
• Conduct an inspection of Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS);
• Conduct an inspection of a Safety Management System (SMS).

• Module 0 : Introducdtion

• Module 1 : Inspection on Aerodrome Surface

• Module 2 : Inspection on VAVAIDs

• Module 3 : Verification on airside access and movement in airside areas

• Module 4 : Verification of Notice to Airmen(NOTAMs)

• Module 5: Inspection in the presence of wildlife

• Module 6: Inspection in Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFs)

• Module 7: Inspection in the Safety Management System (SMS)

✈ Entry Requirements

• Agents or employees who are currently working for an airport and have completed secondary education

• Good oral and written command of the language of instruction.

◼  1st Session: 19th to 23th August 2024  / 5 days, Virtual Classroom (GMT +9)

◼  2nd Session:  10th to 14th November 2025 / 5 days, Virtual Classroom (GMT +9)
